D.El.Ed under SCERT, Assam

Overview: The role of teachers in achieving Universal Elementary Education (UEE) has been pivotal. The Right to Education Act, 2009 ensures equitable education for all. SCERT Assam has taken initiative to train future teachers through 2-year D.El.Ed. programs across TEIs including DIETs and Normal Schools.

  • Training conducted face-to-face by SCERT-affiliated TEIs.
  • Entrance through PET (Pre Entry Test) in May; session begins 1st July.
  • 2-year duration divided into 4 semesters.
